Dr. Emily Pai was born and raised in Eastern Canada before her family relocated to beautiful British Columbia. She completed both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine Degrees at the University of British Columbia. She then completed her family medicine residency at the University of Alberta. She has been practising family medicine since 2001, initially working as a hospitalist and family physician locum at various clinics in Edmonton and Toronto before finally settling in Victoria. She joined the Doctors Medical Clinic in 2005 and shares a part-time practice with Dr. Janet Mak. She provides care to patients of all ages. She is also a Clinical Instructor for the UBC Faculty of Medicine, and enjoys teaching at the Island Medical Program. After work, she enjoys being a mother and caring for her young children.
